SDLA Membership
- Introduction
This page lays out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) governing the membership for SDLA. By purchasing the membership, members agree to abide by these Terms. - Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is $225. This fee is non-refundable and is subject to change upon renewal. - Membership Benefits
Legal Library Access: Members will receive exclusive access to our comprehensive legal library located within the Sudbury Courthouse. This library boasts a wide range of legal resources, journals, case studies, and references, providing invaluable support for legal research and practice.
Annual Golf Tournament: Members are granted entry to our annual golf tournament, offering a unique opportunity to network with fellow members and partake in friendly competition.
Exclusive Member Events: Throughout the year, members will be invited to exclusive members-only events, allowing them to connect, collaborate, and engage with the wider community.
All benefits are subject to change without prior notice. - Membership Duration
The membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Members will be reminded to renew their membership before it expires. - Termination of Membership
SDLA reserves the right to terminate any membership without prior notice if a member breaches these Terms or any other rules or policies set by the organization. - Data Protection and Privacy
Personal information provided during the membership registration will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not share or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent. - Changes to Terms
SDLA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes. - Limitation of Liability
SDLAshall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use any of the services or benefits provided by the membership. - Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sudbury, Ontario. - Contact
